Holy romance, Batman!  Last night I finished a sketch I had been working on. A romance between my version of Batman and Wonder Woman. I think it looks pretty fly like ice-cream pie, see below.

Then, just before sharing it with you, I decided to put it into Photoshop to colour it in, used part of a painting I did back in 2014 for the background (painting linked here), and added rain with some good old Photoshop magic.  The Photoshop magic da Vinci and Michelangelo used on their digital images.

And it turned out like this (hope you like it) ...

Superhero Soap Opera Episode 2: Clark Kent (Superman) & Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) prepare to meet each other's parents

Hey again,

Ever wondered what it'd be like if Superheroes from DC Comics were in a soap opera?  Well, here it is, and you're welcome :-)

This is a series created by yours truly and founder of The Happy Couple's Blueprint, an organisation that helps couples create richer, closer, better relationships.

This episode (Episode 2) picks up with Wonder Woman and Superman about to meet each other's family...

I'm launching a project I've been secretly working on... Superhero Soap Opera! (DC Comics Fan Fiction and Free Relationship Education Tool)

In Episode One of Superhero Soap Opera, Bruce Wayne reveals a secret to his fiancee Selina Kyle.

Hey hey hey! ... Just thought I'd share some awesome news with you ... because, awesomeness. 

Next week I am launching a 12 week fan fiction soap opera parody using the DC Universe and its figurines.  It will be aptly called 'Superhero Soap Opera'.

The videos will predominately follow two couples preparing for marriage: Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Selina Kyle (Catwoman), and Clark Kent (Superman) and Diana Prince (Wonder Woman).

Also, I've teamed up with Anabel Newton from The Happy Couple's Blueprint team, who is a relationship expert and will give her professional advice to the characters, like commentators of your favourite sport at the half-time and full-time marks. So not only will you be entertained, you'll also get educated on how to improve your relationships, particularly of the romantic variety. 

Put it in your calendars. Next week, prepare for awesome.  And if you haven't already, subscribe to ensure you get each addictive episode.

(Of course, these videos are not for any commercial purposes. Superman Painting Photo Diary by Daniel Grant Newton

Hey again,

One fine member of our blog family sent me a note to say that they liked seeing the process of a painting I previously did (always love emails from readers PS!).  So I thought I'd post another one.

This painting is one I did for my nephew as a birthday gift.  It's of Superman, who I obviously do not have any rights to, otherwise I'd be laughing in the bank with the bank manager, and taking cheesy photos of me cutting ribbons to new theme parks I had built with my mountains of money.

Anyway, here is my photo diary of my painting.
